Dia de los Muertos 2010

Here is my sister's Day of the Dead picture that she requested for her birthday this year. She loves this holiday.

I read a little about how it's celebrated and was surprised to find out that aside from setting up alters with flowers and pictures around the graves of the deceased, they also will put out favorite foods of the departed. I would have a plate of bacon and taco bell at my grave. Mmmmmmm!
With favorite foods like that I'm practically sprinting towards cardiac arrest. Oh well.
